ENEX

Enex is one of the main fuels and lubricants distributors in Chile. It has a network of around 450 service stations that operate under the Shell licence. Enex also participates in other business areas, such as the operation of more than 170 convenience stores, the sale of fuels to industrial customers, and the distribution of asphalt and chemical products.

In 2018, Enex began its internationalisation with the purchase of Road Ranger, the fourth largest network of road travel centres in the United States. In 2019, it continued to grow in this direction by acquiring 50% of Gasur SRL (today Enex Paraguay SRL), a company that owns 59 service stations and convenience stores in Paraguay.

The company’s purpose is to ensure its customers have an outstanding service experience. It delivers the energy they need through innovation in products and services, and a coherent, sustainable and reliable value proposition.

Empresa Nacional de Energía Enex SA, Enex, is a private company established by Quiñenco in 2011. On March 23, 2020, the merger with Invexans was approved and achieved by absorption of its parent company, Inversiones Río Argenta SA. The purpose was to facilitate Enex’s international expansion. The operation was completed on April 15, 2020. From this date, Invexans controls the company and, therefore, consolidates its financial statements.
